I am Rosanna Montes, specialising in integrative medicine and acupuncture. I practise in Sant Cugat del Vallès and Barcelona.
My main focus is fertility and hormonal health, supporting individuals and couples before and during assisted reproduction treatments, in collaboration with medical teams such as Reproclinic.
I also treat acute, chronic and sports pain: neck and back pain, migraine, injury recovery, prevention and performance, as well as stress, anxiety and sleep.
In aesthetics I work with natural facial lifting or psycho-aesthetics (Aculifting), a non-surgical, toxin-free alternative that stimulates facial collagen and microcirculation.

How does acupuncture help with fertility?
Acupuncture for fertility helps regulate the cycle and hormonal health, improve pelvic circulation and reduce stress, one of the factors that most affects trying to conceive. It can be combined with assisted reproduction treatments (IVF, ICSI, insemination or embryo transfer) as support, never as a replacement for medical treatment.
How many acupuncture sessions are needed?
It depends on the reason for the visit and on each person. With acute pain, changes are often noticed in the first sessions; with fertility and hormonal health we work in cycles, following a plan we define at the first assessment.

Yes. Online fertility support is delivered by video consultation, with booking and prepayment (€90 / 1 hour). All other treatments take place in person in Sant Cugat del Vallès and Barcelona.
